The ultimate Puerh tea experience. Small compressed circular medallion of fresh leaf withered and compressed into single-serving sized cakes allowed to age in open air conditions. The moisture absorbed from the air makes the tea age and ferment slowly over time. The cakes are then wrapped and nested in tea tissue. Leaf is a combination of pale, pewter strands with darker brown and grey leaf. Simply unwrap and place one cake into a teapot or cup and let it infuse. A special woody, earthy flavor with apricot and peach finish, Pu-erh yields a strong color brew with no bitterness.
Pu-erh (also written Puer, Pu-Er, Puerh) is China’s great mystery tea prized for its heath giving benefits, very low caffeine levels and rich, unique and comforting flavor. .
